Terms and Conditions

By entering the Edwardstown Mazda Win 20k promotion, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

⦁ STANDARD TERMS

• Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.

⦁ WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

• Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to residents of South Australia, 18 years of age or older.
• Employees and their immediate families of Edwardstown Mazda, Australian Motors SA Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies associated with this Promotion are not eligible to enter.

⦁ HOW TO ENTER

• The Promotion commences on Friday 01 November 2024 at 8:30am ACST and concludes on Friday 31 January 2025 at 5:30pm ACST (“the Promotion Period”).
• In order to enter, entrants must:
  
  • make a Qualifying Purchase from Edwardstown Mazda dealer during the Promotion Period and have the car paid within these months and;
  • confirm their details required
• For clarity, a Qualifying Purchase includes the purchase of any car direct from Edwardstown Mazda dealer at any time during November 2024, December 2024 and January 2025. If the purchased car is not paid within this timeframe, the entry is considered invalid.
• Entrants may enter the Promotion as many times as they like, subject to clause 3.2, but there will only be one (1) Winner, who will be awarded one (1) Prize. The time of entry will in each case be the time the Qualifying Purchase is received by Edwardstown Mazda.

⦁ THE PRIZE

• There will be one (1) Prize Winner who will win $20,000 AUD maximum
• Prizes and all elements of Prizes must be taken as specified, as and when offered and cannot be altered or changed in any way by you or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter will not be liable. If you forfeit the Prize or any element of the Prize for whatever reason, you will not be given cash or any alternative Prize as a substitute. Prizes are subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier or the Promoter, including validity periods.
• The Prize will only be paid via EFT to the Winner’s nominated bank account by the Promoter. The Prize must be taken as offered. The Prize value is in Australian dollars and supplied in one lump sum. The Promoter does not take any responsibility for any tax consequences or imposts that arise from the receipt of the Prize.
• No part of a Prize is transferable or exchangeable nor (except where cash is specified) redeemable for cash, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Promoter. The Prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Conditions of Entry and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in Prize value.
• In the event a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute for it a Prize of equal or greater value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
• The winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The Winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and they will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
• All entrants agree that if they win the Prize, they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation, including the internet. Photographs will be allowed only at the discretion of the program producers and the celebrity.
• Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the Prize winnings. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the major Prize Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and the Promoters’ requirements.

⦁ THE DRAW

• The prize draw will take place at the Edwardstown Mazda showroom at 862 South Road, Edwardstown SA 5039 on Friday 14th of February 2025.
• The Winner will be notified by phone call and email on Friday 14th February 2025. The Winner’s details (last name, first initial and postcode) will also be published on the Edwardstown Mazda’s (www.edwardstownmazda.com.au) website within 30 days of the prize draw.
• If the winner does not claim their prize by Friday 28th February 2025 (14 days), or is uncontactable, they forfeit the prize, and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute anything for the Prize. There will not be an unclaimed prize draw.

⦁ PROOF OF PURCHASE

• You must keep the following as proof of purchase for all entries:
  
  • original purchase receipt/s.
• If you don’t produce the above proof of purchase or valid identification for all entries when asked, the Promoter may disqualify all of your entries, and you will lose any right to a Prize.
• Proof of purchase and/or valid identification must be identical to that provided by you with your entry.
• Your purchase receipt must clearly identify where the Qualifying Purchase was made, the product/s purchased (which must be/comprise a Qualifying Purchase) and the date of purchase (which must be during the Promotional Period before you submitted your entry).
• If, in the Promoter’s opinion, you have shared any proof of purchase with another person, your entries will be invalid, and you will lose any right to a Prize.

⦁ NO LIABILITY

• Edwardstown Mazda, Australian Motors SA Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies associated with this Promotion, will take no responsibility for Prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail. Edwardstown Mazda, Australian Motors SA Pty Ltd and their associated employees, agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim, damages, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this Promotion and/or its Prizes that may occur:
  
  • during the Winner selection;
  • whilst undertaking any travel on or connected with their entry into the promotion
• Subject to State Regulation, in the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
• Edwardstown Mazda, Australian Motors SA Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies associated with this Promotion assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to State Regulation
• Subject to State Regulation, if for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security,

By providing your personal information below, you agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy. Without limiting the foregoing, Australian Motors SA Pty Ltd may disclose the entrant’s personal information to its related entities, business partners and external service providers for research and profiling purposes as well as other purposes reasonably related to the entrant’s
